Alessandra Riboni is an Italian sculptor and painter. She worked for several years as a decorator and restorer. From this experience, she acquired ancient painting techniques, using Renaissance pigments and binders. The study, composition, and nature of color will accompany her in her work. At the same time, she cultivated a passion for sculpture and modeling in clay and papier-mâché.

She investigates the human figure not only as a form but as the most intimate essence of the human being. This is like research in culture, popular traditions, and the social context in which her characters live and take shape. For this reason, she uses materials and fabrics of common use, sewing them together with painting as a fusion between reality and imagination.
