吴施慧（生于1999年，香港特别行政区）是一位跨学科艺术家，主要从事绘画创作。她目前在罗德岛设计学院（RISD）攻读绘画专业，现生活和工作在中国香港和美国普罗维登斯。她的作品主要专注于人之间的互动，亲密关系中的自己和他人，和自身的文化身份。
吴施慧通常在她的作品中描绘人物，为观者提供强烈的亲密感和对作者心理的窥探。她经常通过构图上的多人肢体接触，以提高作品的张力。当描绘独立的人物时，她试图连接画中人物和观者，能够超越物理和时间空间的的关系与对话。

Kitty Ng (b.1999, Hong Kong S.A.R) is a multidisciplinary artist who works primarily with Painting. She is currently studying Painting at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and is currently based in Hong Kong and Providence, USA. Her work mainly focuses on human interaction, relationships with self and loved ones, and cultural identity.
Kitty Ng typically depicts the figure in her works, providing the audience with an unparalleled level of intimacy and insight into her psyche. She often choreographs multiple figures in physical dialogue with each other to elevate the tension in the piece. When depicting a lone figure, she intends to create a connection between that person and the audience, allowing for a conversation that transcends physical space and time to occur.
Inspired by impressionism and post-impressionism movements, she typically uses bold strokes and builds thick layers to depict her subjects. She also plays with complementaries to create a strong contrast and add movement to the paintings. In the fall of 2017, Ng participated in RISD’s European Honor’s Program, a pre-graduation residency-style opportunity in Rome. During her time abroad, seeing artworks from different eras of history led her to experiment with a wider variety of textures and application methods. Upon seeing the vibrancy of colors in pre-Renaissance paintings from Florence’s Uffizi Gallery, she began experimenting with glazing and started exploring how to create depth through layers of transparency. While creating her works, she tries to find a balance by combining thick opaque layers of paint with areas of transparency to create an effect in which the light comes from within the painting.
She has participated in group exhibitions at Palazzo Cenci in Rome (2019), RISD Gelman Gallery (2020), the Machines and Magnets Gallery in Pawtucket, Rhode Island (2020), and in virtual exhibitions at the London Paint Club (2021) and Roaring Artist Gallery (2021).
