我出生于北京，成长于英国、美国、北京和香港，拥有多元文化背景。早期的中国网络中的ACG文化、亚文化和酷儿文化对我的创作有着深远的影响。我的作品主要聚焦于跨文化身份在不同文化背景中的割裂与融合，以及“不合时宜”在各文化中的表现。我擅长使用数字制造、陶瓷、木工和纺织品等多种媒介，探索在全球化背景下跨文化身份的话语权与处境。

陶瓷是我近期最喜欢的创作材料，因为它的制作过程充满了不确定性和偶然性，无法精准预测陶瓷烧制的过程和结果。虽然最终的表达不完全在掌控之中，但正是这种巧合造就了陶瓷充满偶然性的状态。过度掌握的东西对我来说是无聊、死气沉沉的。同时，这种不确定性也揭示了新的可能性。我利用随机性的组合，实验作品之间的排列关系，探索新的艺术表达方式。

I was born in Beijing and grew up in the UK, the US, Beijing, and Hong Kong, giving me a multicultural background. Early influences from Chinese internet ACG culture, subcultures, and queer culture have had a profound impact on my work. My creations primarily focus on the fragmentation and integration of trans-cultural identities in different cultural contexts, as well as the manifestation of “inappropriation” elements within these cultures. I specialize in using various media, including digital fabrication, ceramics, woodworking, and textiles, to explore the discourse and situation of cross-cultural identities in a globalized context.

Ceramics have recently become my favorite medium because the creation process is filled with uncertainty and randomness. The firing process and outcomes of ceramics are unpredictable. While the final expression is not entirely within my control, it is precisely this serendipity that creates the unique and random beauty of ceramics. For me, overly controlled works are dull and lifeless. This unpredictability also reveals new possibilities. I utilize random combinations and experiment with the arrangement of works to explore new forms of artistic expression.
