A Broad Mind Achieves Greatness

前言 Introduction

作为艺术创作者，试着透过艺术的高度表现，将哲学与美学的两相结合，透过书法篆刻艺术的文字转化，将篆刻内容中的不同形式来演绎哲学精神。篆刻的形式美就是透过字法、篆法、刀法，以及章法来布篆创作完成，倾注创作者本身的情趣，在每个文字内容上投注文字内涵，让篆刻艺术明确地将形式与文字内容的结合，表达出自己的内心感受，亦即是所谓的「印语」，借此来述志抒情，让篆刻的形式与文字内容相互影响，使语言的文字美与形式美达成统一，且相得益彰。

篆刻是书法艺术的创作延伸，篆刻承载着多样的艺术面貌。书法是一种修行，从书法入手，经过多年的学习，再进入篆刻的领域，寄情于汉字文化的内容，不断地冶炼出艺术情怀，以书法线条的艺术表现以及审美情趣，导引出另一番的篆刻视觉艺术。而这篆刻艺术也是一种图形的转化，传达一种方寸视觉，可以写情写意，且融入心灵的活动中，表现出高度的文化艺术意涵，进一步地探索生命的哲学。

一件作品的表现形式犹如雄浑、秀逸、萧散、茂密、劲健、飘逸、纤浓、旷达、冲淡等等不同风格类型因素来决定作品的审美价值与否。视觉传达无疑是表达情感、意念的一种方式，也是人们传递讯息的途径。

篆刻的印面中又分朱文与白文的章法表现方式，色彩是官能的感应，不同的色阶会给人们不同的情绪影响。随之而来，也会引发心灵的改变，也进而影响生理的反应。色彩是影响人的身体变化，有着极大的作用力，唯独和谐的色彩才是稳定心灵的关键原则。造形具有抽象的空间的视觉感受，不同的形，都能传达独特的精神本质。色彩是受形的影响而有了相辅相成的作用。色彩和形的组合有着千变万化且取之不竭的无限多种。色彩和形的结合是由内在心灵来决定，形是可塑性的表达方式，也是艺术创作的无限组合源头，结合成有节奏性和非节奏性的抽象形和几何形。艺术家藉由内在需求原则下结合色彩和形来表现出自己的个人特色与当代语言及风格，而充满艺术性灵的天赋特性，正是艺术家的天性使然。色彩用来表达人的情绪状况，不同的色彩表现正是心理投射的语境。

在此，艺术家是透过心灵内在的意识，运用色彩与形的纯粹力量来展现「美」的价值。篆刻创作虽然表现在方寸之间，而精神创造的世界，仍有小中见大，无限扩大之创造可能。张书豪老师集结，吉星高照，慈悲喜舍，永远，长毋相忘，花开见佛，相见欢，室雅兰香，心醉，长乐未央，一见如故等十件作品，正是探讨篆刻艺术与色彩心理的实践成果。

As a creator of calligraphy, painting, and seal engraving art, I try to combine philosophy and aesthetics through a high level of artistic expression. Through the text transformation of calligraphy and seal-engraving art, I try to interpret the philosophical spirit through different forms in the seal-engraving content. The formal beauty of seal engraving is achieved through calligraphy, seal writing, knife skills, and composition. The creator’s own taste is poured into the content of each text so that the art of seal engraving clearly combines form and text. The combination of content expresses one’s inner feelings, which is the so-called “Printing language”. It is used to describe one’s emotions and emotions, allowing the form of seal engraving and text content to interact with each other so that the beauty of words and form of language can be unified, and complement each other.

Seal engraving is a creative extension of the art of calligraphy, and seal engraving carries various artistic aspects. Calligraphy is a kind of practice. Starting from calligraphy, after many years of study, it then enters the field of seal-engraving, focusing on the content of Chinese character culture, constantly refining artistic feelings, and using the artistic expression and aesthetic taste of calligraphy lines to lead to another world. The visual art of seal engraving is also a transformation of graphics, conveying a square-inch vision, which can express feelings and thoughts, and is integrated into the activities of the soul, showing a high degree of cultural and artistic connotation and further exploring the philosophy of life.

The idea of investing in the village residency program is to use the resources and environment of the art village to stimulate personal innovative thinking, integrate the contemporary artistic expression of calligraphy, painting, and seal engraving with the world, and continue my professional creation in the art village. It will have a unique style. Then publish and share my artistic ideas, so that the positive energy of art can become people’s psychological comfort and spiritual sustenance.

The expression of a work is determined by various stylistic factors such as grandeur, elegance, detachment, richness, vigor, elegance, richness, broadness, and dilution, which determine the aesthetic value of the work. Visual communication is undoubtedly a way of expressing emotions and ideas, as well as a way for people to convey information.

In the seal-engraving process, there are two different ways of expression in the seal writing: vermilion script and white script. Color is a sensory response, and different color levels can have different emotional effects on people. As a result, it can also trigger changes in the mind, which in turn can affect physiological responses. Color affects the physical changes of a person and has a great impact. Only harmonious color is the key principle for stabilizing the mind. The form has an abstract visual perception of space, and different forms can convey a unique spiritual essence. Color is influenced by form and has a complementary effect. There are countless and inexhaustible combinations of colors and shapes. The combination of color and form is determined by the inner soul, and form is a malleable expression and the infinite source of artistic creation, combining into rhythmic and non-rhythmic abstract and geometric forms. Artists express their personal characteristics and contemporary language and style by combining color and form under the principle of internal needs, and the innate artistic nature of artists is precisely what makes them full of artistic spirit. Color is used to express a person’s emotional state, and different color expressions are the context of psychological projection.

Here, the artist uses the pure power of color and form to showcase the value of beauty through the inner consciousness of the soul. Although seal carving creation is expressed within a small space, the world of spiritual creation still has the potential to expand infinitely and see the bigger picture. Ten works, including Personal Gathering, Auspicious Stars Shining Brightly, Compassion and Joy in Giving Up, Eternity, Never Forgetting Each Other, Blooming Flowers and Seeing Buddha, Enjoying Each Other, Elegant Orchid Fragrance in the Room, Intoxication in Mind, Lingering Joy, and Making friends at first sight, are the practical achievements of exploring seal carving art and color psychology.
