宋思⻬(1996年⽣于辽宁⼤连)2018年毕业于清华⼤学美术学院⼯艺美术专业，随后在纽约Parsons School of Design攻读 Fine Arts专业硕⼠学位。曾在纽约，北京，深圳等地参加展览，并多次参与展览策划。⽬前居住于上海。

作为⼀名跨媒介的艺术家，材料对她⽽⾔是⼀种隐喻，她的创作包含了对雕塑，绘画，影像以及装置领域的探索和实践。在不断向内在精神世界挖掘的过程中，她对梦境体验，尤其是潜意识活动与现实的关系产⽣了极⼤兴趣。

她的作品主要关注梦境与记忆的相互映射和重叠，从个⼈的视⻆不断接近，游离在介于真实和虚幻，记忆与遗忘，意识和⽆意识之间的状态，并尝试唤起存在于集体潜意识中的共有经验和感受。

她近期的创作包括⼀些实验影⽚，通过关注物质的转化和消逝，重复的⾏为，图像之间的关联，试图重现梦境的逻辑，和以⼀种意识流⽅式进⾏的梦境叙事。她很好奇梦境是如何在清醒状态下被重新构建和叙述的。

Rita Song was born in 1996 and raised in the north east of China. She started her training in art at a very young age and further developed her interest at Tsinghua University. Since 2014, she has focused on craft art, especially fifiber art, where has been practiced with difffferent kinds of materials.

She also engaged in furnishing design and tapestry design.Rita is currently a graduate student at Parsons School of Design, continuing her study in the Fine Arts Program. She has a wide range of practice includes sculpture, installation, painting, and experimental fifilms. Her works involve the theme of dreams and subconscious.

As an interdisciplinary artist, She views material as metaphor. Her practice includes experimentations in sculpture, painting, video and installation. She became interested in dream experiences, and in particular the relationship between subconscious activities and reality during the process of investigating the inner psychological world. Her works mainly focus on how dreams and memories reflflect each other, and reenact these moments by repeating and emphasizing certain behaviors or images in dreams.

Starting from a personal perspective, she aims to approach the in-between space of real and surreal, conscious and unconscious, internal and external. Her work tries to resonate with others’ experiences and feelings that are shared in our collective unconsciousness. Her recent work has included experimental fifilms in which she explores how dream scenarios are reconstructed and narrated through the waking state.

无题空间是由艺术家创立和运营的画廊和艺术家驻地计划，坐落于上海市青浦区朱家角。基于“无题”即是命题的理念，致力于为艺术家提供自由，无国界的创作空间和交流平台。无题空间的实践范围包括举办当代艺术展览、持续运作的艺术家驻地计划、以及面向大众的艺术工作坊等。与此同时，无题空间鼓励国际艺术家在中国当代社会的语境，和本土艺术家展开对话；在多文化表达方式下激发新的视角和灵感。

UИTITLEDSPΛCE is an artist-run gallery, art residency based in Zhujiajiao, Shanghai. As the name ‘Untitled’ suggests, we strive to provide a creative space and exchange platform for contemporary artists without any restrictions and boundaries. UИTITLEDSPΛCE is dedicated to showcasing contemporary art exhibitions, artist in residence, and providing workshops for the public, etc. In addition, UИTITLEDSPΛCE encourages collaboration between international artists and local artists in the context of Chinese contemporary society; where multicultural expression sparks fresh perspectives and ideas.
