Wang Yuechen (roro) is a nomadic creator who utilizes immersive installations, imagery, stop-motion animation, sculptures, and other media to create her works. Her creations are centered on the realm of senses and tactile narratives. Passionate about exploring the intricate connections between narrative, viewpoint, imagery, language, emotion, and meaning, her art endeavors to address themes such as femininity, memory, intimacy, and the subconscious through an intimate and personalized lens. Skilled in presenting blurred narratives that blend reality with fiction from an innocent, absurd, and playful perspective, she simultaneously strives to explore and recapture certain bizarre and fleeting emotional experiences through a detached viewpoint. These experiences encompass emotions like anxiety, restlessness, confusion, and indefinable sentiments, where meaning resides solely in the gaps between occurrence and loss.
