1998年出生于北京，现居住、工作于北京。2020年于清华大学美术学院获文学学士学位。

受到个人经历和成长环境影响，她的作品大多围绕自我定位、自我表达展开。虽然来自玻璃艺术背景，但她的作品不局限于玻璃这一种材料。她认为材料和媒介表达的介质，在她的作品中可以找到对于不同媒介的尝试与探索，如棉布、珠子、雕塑、装置、行为和影像等。

她认为阅读、思考与创作是为了更清晰深入理解自己与周围事物。受到周围环境的影响，她经常能够在其他领域中找到思考的共鸣，如文学作品、社会学理论、医学治疗等；而创作对她而言，是有一种坦白的方式，是通过言语述说之外，同自己或他人的另一种交流方式。她从个人经历和情感出发，在创作中，她不断试探当前自己坦诚的边界，鼓励自己在创作中更多地“袒露”自己，更勇敢与真诚地表达。

ZHANG Daiqing, born in Beijing in 1998, and is now living and working there. She graduated from the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, in 2020.

Due to personal experience and growth environment, ZHANG’s works are usually about self-recognition and self-expression. She regards a form or material as a medium for artistic expression. Though her field of expertise is in glass art, she explores many other media in her creations as well, such as clothing, beads, sculpture, installation, performance, video, and etc.

She believes reading, thinking, and art creation are ways to develop a better understanding of herself and of the surrounding. She always finds herself resonating with literature, social science theories, and clinical therapy. To ZHANG, her artworks are various forms of self-confession, and art is a non-verbal way for her to communicate with others. She tries to push her boundary in every work, detecting her limitations of frankness.
